With around 400 playing members, their families and prime access to a UTAS Hobart campus community of upto 20,000 people, UTAS Cricket is involved across all ages, genders and skill levels.

UTAS Cricket sees itself as a leading community sporting organisation and has a vision to be the Club of Choice in Tasmania with quality coaches, managers and facilities.

Our mission is to provide an environment that inspires the love of cricket and develops players, coaches and managers to represent Tasmania and Australia.

We offer cricket programs for boys and girls from 5 years old and above, starting at our entry level Blasters programs through to Premier League cricket.

We also have a close relationship with Cricket Tasmania helping identify and develop talented cricketers who will form part of the ongoing success of cricket in Tasmania and Australia.

We also work with UTAS to help promote the University in a variety of ways including our Annual Cricket Scholarship, Faculty cricket events, intra- and inter-varsity sport and other multicultural activities on campus.

Our responsibility for the development of cricket also sees us promoting the game through many local schools and regional areas beyond our normal catchment area.  We take this responsibility very seriously and we look forward to sharing our passion for cricket with others in our community.
